Sundar Pichai’s Quora Account Hacked?

A three-guy hacker kit seems to have obtained access to Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s Quora account. The Facebook creator reused his password between his Pinterest, LinkedIn and Twitter reports which asked this assault.

OurMine is trying to rebrand itself as a “security business has offered to supply support to the ones and ” it targets so that these violations don’t get duplicated. This strategy to get new customers is distinct but apparently the business has already made $16,500 selling its services as reported by mic.com. It’s largely been marketing through the social media reports of the personas it’s targetted and occasionally tweeting to offer alternatives and help to personas like deadmau5 before taking over his sound cloud report.

After following such non-traditional tactic of hijacking the accounts and insisting that they do damage or n’t alter passwords and spread private advice, the group has faced flak for requesting to be paid over tweets in exchange. Along with this strategy of linking back to their web site on social media reports and leaving their theme song as posts or tweet, they’ve also bounced from website to website promotion about their services until the site owners have taken down the notices. Some of the web site owners also have began a change.org request to shut down the group.

The group has been banking on old password dumps and trusting that stars and technology elites use the exact same passwords that are old as those located in the password dumps. The group began as a hacker group in a fast whois search and 2014 will not show much apart from the fact the site has been up since August 2014. As it’s been routing it’s traffic it’s difficult to follow the foundation of the team and the details in domain database additionally appear to be through a third party registrar.
