Run Windows 95 in an internet browser
You can now run Windows 95 through your web browser thanks to DOSBox Emscripten and Em-DOSBox applications, some time and of course a capable programmer.
How did she make it? Nicely Faulds explains that she began by installing Windows 95 in DOSBox and configured everything in Em-DOSBox.
The OS doesn’t come without constraints though, it runs considerably slower as it runs on an emulated CPU, than you would expect. The OS based browser additionally crashes from time to time or when you try to open specific programs like Internet Explorer. Apart from this there is not any means for you to save you progress as everything is erased when you close the browser-based OS.
Faulds explains that the complete set up lies on uncertainty grounds before putting everything together as no permission was taken from Microsoft.
