Microsoft formally stops support for Windows 8

Microsoft has formally finished supporting its Windows 8 operating system, which was established in October 2016. The first large transition was signified by the operating system for the world’s largest software manufacturer, which was going from the desktop computer-only strategy to a cellular-oriented appearance.
The ending of support for Windows 8 means that Microsoft is not going to issue any more bug fixes or security patches for the OS. Nevertheless, existing users may continue to make use of it.
It’s since expanded the upgrade support to Windows 10 as well.

Windows 8 was among the most contentious OSes as it was a paradigm shift for desktop computer users when it comes to usability and interface. In addition, the Tiles of the tablet PC interface didn’t generate a favorable response from most users.
