Google will shut down left Google Local pages on July 28
Google is preparing to shutter some left Google Local pages. On July 28, company pages that are not being used will be “unverified.”
In recent months, you might have seen some changes in the appearance of Google pages which were related to Google My Company (GMB) accounts. These changes, including how we handle company pages without owners, are a part of Google’s continuing attempt to simplify people’s encounter with our tools. We’re always working to supply our users with just abundant and useful content.
On July 28th, Google will start shutting down those GMB-related Google pages which are additionally not confirmed and never have been related to user accounts.
For companies to maintain the listing, the Google Maps team urges the listing is verified by it.
It appears the age of Google being the ‘societal backbone’ that runs through the organization is shuttering.
