All Fortune 500 firms are hacked, maintains security researcher
Mikko Hypponen, the chief research officer at F-Secure Oyj, asserted in an interview with Bloomberg that successful hacks have been experienced by all Fortune 500 firms.
Hypponen said. “They all have security violations, large or little. For those who are in possession of a large enough infrastructure, you will not be able to procure all of it.”
The TalkTalk hack, which has knocked off of the value of the company’s, is the newest in a long line of security violations that contain Apple, T Mobile, US retailer Target, Walmart, Neiman Marcus, and much more.
Other businesses — such as banks — have been encouraged to improve security while TalkTalk may have been an easy goal. In 2014, JP Morgan was hacked as the firm had not executed two-factor authentication, a procedure which uses a PC and the users telephone to login.
