Baidu said in a statement that it will comply with the law and was committed to supplying the best search experience.
“Baidu will work closely with government agencies, web users and the community to carry on a healthy web surroundings, and strive to provide our users with objective, unbiased, and important search results it said.
Search engines also have other issues, the regulator said.
Some search results include obscenities, rumours, pornography, violence, homicide, terrorism and other advice that is prohibited,” it said.
“Some search results lack equity and objectivity, go against standards and corporate morals, affecting and misleading folks’s judgement.”
Officials say net limitations, including the blocking of popular foreign websites like Facebook and Google, are needed to ensure security for example terrorism, in the face of increasing dangers.
Business groups and foreign governments have pointed to limitations online as a commerce problem that was more comprehensive. |
