Broadband ISPs, CableCos Least Enjoyed of Any US Business

A survey of 10,000 consumers has found that broadband ISPs continue to companies and cable have the worst customer satisfaction ratings of any business in the United States — despite innumerable executives that things claims by cable, breathtaking are improving. Based on the 2016 Temkin Encounter Evaluations, Internet service providers and TV service tied for the lowest average ratings in any business with health care suppliers.

These sectors have been at the base of the the Evaluations for the previous four years, “and their scores reach an all-time low this year,” asserts the company.

But Comcast continues to hold an extremely unique place as the least enjoyed business in America’s least-liked businesses in the hearts of consumers.

“The poster child for lousy customer experience in these businesses—Comcast—wasn’t only the lowest-grading TV service and Internet supplier, but was also among the lowest-scoring firms in the whole Evaluations,” says the report. “It rated 289th complete out of 294 businesses for its TV service and rated 284th complete for its Internet service.”

It is worth noting that no business in the cable or broadband businesses received anything higher than a “poor” rating. But for the TV service industry, DirecTV earned the highest score among the greatest of the poor with a rating of 57% and an overall ranking of 182nd.

“Internet and TV providers are horrible to consumers. The lack of competition continues to fuel this terrible encounter outbreak,” says Bruce Temkin, managing associate of Temkin Group.
