ATI Industrial Automation Introduces Wireless F/T Portable Six-Axis Force/Torque Detection System
The Wireless F/T, a tiny wireless transmitter that streams data from up to six 6-axis transducers concurrently, was lately introduced by ATI Industrial Automation, Apex, NC. The Wireless F/T comes in two settings, one that supports up to one that supports up to three transducers and six transducers.
Wireless F/T Details
The Wireless F/T’s variety in an office environment is 30 m (98 feet) and may reach up to 100 m (328 feet) in an unobstructed environment. Battery life is about one hour at maximum capacity (total measurement speed with six transducers empowered), and is drawn out at lower data rates and/or by disabling one or more of the transducers. Power choices contain a removable, rechargeable battery which can be charged or externally by means of a Micro USB connector using an outside, 5VDC power supply. The Wireless F/T includes a tiny enclosure with mounting characteristics that are solid.
ATI’s Force/Torque Sensor System quantifies six elements of force and torque (Fx, Fy, Fz, Tx, Ty, Tz) and features a streamlined design, tempered stainless steel construction, high speed output signal, overload protection, period temperature compensation alternatives, and high signal-to-noise ratio. ATI provides an extensive selection of custom and conventional detector versions from 17 mm to 330 mm and contain environmental protection (IP) on most versions.
ATI’s engineering section, the biggest of its own type for a robotic tooling firm, is focused on developing cost effective, state of the art products and solutions that enhance productivity that was robotic.
