India Fourth-Most Affected State by Downadup Malware: FSecure
India is the fourth nation which has most number of assaults by the Downadup malware family, a report by Finland-based online security and secrecy firm F-Secure, said. It included that besides India, this risk was most often found in Italy, France, Germany, Finland and Norway.
FSecure Danger Round up Report 2015 details events and the trends in international cyber menaces that strike on businesses and consumers this past year.
In 2015, Downadup was the most often detected kind of malware in computers in Germany, France and Finland. India is the fourth on the list while Norway and Italy follow the suit.
As stated by the report, the computer worm, which was found in 2008, is now recognised as one of today widepread malware infections.
While many antivirus products can find and remove the infection for individual consumers, once it infects big networks, including those run by telecommunication firms or international businesses, it’s still challenging to purge the worm.
