In a statement on Friday, Microsoft admitted that it’ll take more’ to get Windows 10 on a billion apparatus, attributing its own choice to scale back its smartphone company over the last year.

Microsoft considers that the slowing attempts to install the latest version of its main applications on PCs, game consoles and cellular devices like cellphones and tablet computers will take some more time.

The statement seen a difficult effect on the share as it dropped 30 cents to USD 53.44 in the day trading session.

Microsoft says Windows 10 is running on other devices and more than 350 million PCs.

Analysts say that is an impressive speed of adoption for applications last year released. But comparatively few smartphones have been sold by Microsoft and has cut back its mobile process.
