Zuckerberg summarized a significant drive to integrate bots and artificial intelligence into the Messenger platform. The revamped service will enable people and businesses to develop private and more complex experiences through Messenger than ever before, finally transforming the program into a leading communications and advertising instrument.

“Messenger will be the next big platform for sharing independently,” Zuckerberg told convention attendees.

More than 900 million people all over the world and 50 million companies use monthly Messenger to convey, he noted. Facebook has began working with various companies to help them develop deeper relationships with their customers, and it is opening up the platform to contain bots and the send/receive API.

We’re entering the “golden age of on-line video,” Zuckerberg included, noting research findings that reveal Facebook users file 10 times more opinions in response to video than to normal pictures.

Sometimes, public figures have not been unable to develop a larger crowd using video on Facebook than they brought to their own television shows, he noted.
