US Spy Chief’s Personal Accounts Hacked
US spy chief James Clapper’s private on-line accounts are hacked, Tuesday, his office confirmed, a couple months after CIA director John Brennan endured a similar assault.
“We understand the issue and we reported it to the correct authorities,” spokesman Brian Hale told AFP.
Cracka told Motherboard he had altered the settings on Clapper’s Verizon accounts that calls to his house were rerouted to the California-based Free Palestine Movement.
Hackers from the group have said they’re adolescent high school pupils.
Back in October, CIA Director John Brennan’s individual e-mail account was broken into by a teenaged hacker and swiped at sensitive files including a top secret program for a security clearance.
Right after, WikiLeaks posted content from what seemed to be the individual e-mail account of CIA Director John Brennan, including a draft security clearance program containing private information. The content presumably was chosen in a compromise of Brennan’s e-mail account by a hacker, who promised he deceived another worker into disclosing the private info of Brennan and posed as a Verizon worker.
