Twitter Begins Rolling Out New Search Results Interface for Desktop Computer
The brand new interface brings cleaner appearance and adds more filtering options like live top tweets, accounts, photographs, videos, and more choices for users to sort results.
The search results that were revamped was reported to be in testing last month when the micro blogging website initially made accessible the new interface to a small variety of users.
The UI is not as cluttered in relation to the last one and offers few tabs on top covering the search types as seen in the below screenshot. The tablatures are also consistent with all the user’s chosen colour theme. A fresh ‘Live’ tablature has replaced the ‘All’ function, which previously enabled users to see tweets in a serial pattern. The ‘More options’ tab contains the choices to restrict the searches to the tweets near you and folks you follow. The right part of the brand new search page on Twitter does not contain alternatives or any tablatures.
A Twitter representative supported the roll out to Advertising Property in an e-mailed statement, “We Are broadly rolling out a brand new search experience to users on Web. As with other attributes, we’ll continue to iterate and improve on this, to make it even simpler for users to locate what they’re seeking when they search on Twitter.”
The brand new search interface is a significant overhaul for the Web users of Twitter after an extended time.
Twitter began enabling users for direct messages from anyone, last month.
