Time to change your master password, LastPass was hacked
LastPass declared today that it “found and blocked questionable action” on its network on Friday. While the organization says that there’s no evidence that user vault information (a user’s stored passwords) was required or that accounts were obtained, it did recognize that user email addresses, authentication hashes, password reminders and server per user salts were endangered. LastPass is assured that its encryption is powerful enough to make assaulting those hashes that are purloined with any speed hard. But in the event you are a LastPass customer you need to change your password. While LastPass urges you alter your password for those who have a poor master password or utilize that password on multiple websites, you switch on variable authentication — and really should change your master password
