“Solitude” Mode IsN’t Really Private

Several of the most famous web browsers, like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari, offer the choice to browse the internet “independently” or “incognito.” But such a privacy does not expand much further than your own computer. While Safari guarantees that its “Private Browsing” mode will keep your browsing history private, the truth is the fact that sites you see will continue to have the ability to recognize your personal computer by its own IP address – a unique identifier for every one of your devices – given by your ISP. The same is true for Chrome, which in equity warns users that “going incognito does not conceal your browsing from your company, your internet service provider, or the sites you see.” Generally, these fundamental privacy modes just help in keeping your activities private from several other users on the exact same computer.
