Security researcher finds important backdoor script on Facebook’s server
It’s a dream for any hacker to circumvent Facebook’s internal network; while some of them trail and monitor the social network website to bring in huge bounties black hat hackers or other grey have a more reasoning that is malicious.
In a recent disclosure, a security researcher from Taiwanese security seller Devcore ‘by chance found’ a backdoor script.
After analysing the susceptible FTA, he found seven security defects which contained three cross-site scripting (XSS) flaws, two remote code execution defects, and two local privilege escalation problems.
Afterwards, Tsai used the susceptibility he got access to Facebook’s server and came across in the Accelion safe FTA.
As Tsai began preparing his report on the amount of bugs he’d found on the server, he seen a malicious PHP-established PHP or backdoor net shell.
It’s still a leading source of advice for any malicious hacker while the corporate server has no ties with the social networking site’s primary servers.
After reporting the event, Tsai was given $10,000 (about Rs 6,70,000) by Facebook for his attempts.
