Anmol Tukrel, a 16-year old Indian-origin Canadian citizen, has designed a personalised search engine which he asserts is 47 percent more precise than Google.

Tukrel came across the concept of a personalised search engine at Bengaluru during an internship stint in India -based adtech business IceCream Labs.

He intended to take it Google’s personalised search engine thought to another degree.

The search engine of Tukrel is now limited to the news articles that appeared in The New York Times of a year.

His development kit contained just a computer, a python- a spreadsheet programme, language development environment and access to New York Times and Google.

To check the truth of his search engine, the search query was limited by Tukrel to this year’s posts from the New York Times.
