Microsoft shoving Windows 10 upgrade to users even if they did not book it

Microsoft is pushing out to the Windows 10 upgrade files and keeping them prepared on Windows 7 and 8 PCs with the autoupdate feature for users who’ve not allowed the new OS. Based on news reports on Register and Inquirer, Microsoft has verified that it was shoving on the auto-download files on PCs for Windows 10 . The user stated the computer attempts to install the Windows 10 upgrade “every time the computer is booted.”

Microsoft told Register, “For people that have picked to receive automatic updates through Windows Update, we help customers prepare their apparatus for Windows 10 by downloading the files needed for future installment.” As Register points out the issue with this particular auto-download is the fact that people who are on a metered Internet data connection could suddenly discover that they have run out of their information limit thanks to the Windows 10 auto-download feature on their computers. With Windows 10, Microsoft also brings an auto update feature, which means users can not always pick and choose which upgrades should get downloaded, installed on their PC, although this doesn’t work on a WiFi information connection that is metered.
