Lycos to Launch ‘Life’ Lineup of Wearables
Among the top Internet brands, Lycos, has declared that it’ll start Lycos Life, a line of wearable devices that function as one point of entry into users’ digital lives.
Initially delivered in the kind of a smart wristband (priced at $124.99) and ring ($59.99), Lycos Life products enable users to live safe, communicative, healthy and efficient lives, said the Hyderabad-based business.
BSE and the NSE listed firm considers the products give a significance to living within the World Wide Web, rather than around it.
Lycos Life has the ability to intelligently feel people’ regular routines and transfer this information securely and wirelessly to their phone via Bluetooth and its own Harness to Transport (T2T) communication protocol. Their wearable apparatus may also enable users to automatically track incoming calls, sleep, heart rate, their action, and significant notifications from their phone totally hands free.
“We’ve been living and learning the Internet for the previous 20 years, now the Internet is beginning to learn us,” said Lycos chairman and CEO Suresh Reddy.
“Initially, what Lycos set out to solve was simplifying and making hunting on the Internet more productive.
