Google Glass: New patents filed with FCC
Google has filed patents for a fresh variant of its formerly sidelined Glass apparatus together with the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC), disclosing that it’s continuing to work on development and launch of the wearable.
The technology giant filed info on radio frequency absorption for the device, dubbed GG1, and internal pictures, evaluation reports, evaluation set up pictures, a user guide, a request for secrecy, with the FCC.
As stated by the user guide, the power button is placed on the rear of the apparatus.
“The plastic block just above your right eye lets you interact together with the apparatus. The House Display is your starting point. By default, the screen shows you the present time,” the file describes.
“The camera button is on the very top of the apparatus close to the screen. Press the camera button to shoot a picture.
The HoloLens of Microsoft is an augmented-reality system as opposed to a straightforward glasses apparatus that is smart, while Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously said that Google Glass isn’t a mass market device. Cook granted that Glass could “appeal to specific markets,” including that wearables is an increasing sector.
