More than five million IP addresses infected by adware : Google
Based on UC Berkley and another research form Google, IP addresses or more than five million users are infected by adware.
In line with the Brink, the amount may be an underestimate since adware software generally refuse to tamper with big business websites to prevent detection. The report also stated the ill-famed superfish adware , the most famous advertising injector found by the analysis, affecting more than 3.7 million pageviews, is still living.
Advertising-injecting malware is among the very dependable scams online. Once a computer’s infected, new advertising drop into any website it sees, sending advertising sales back to the scammers who command it.
