Facebook to start showing ads in Messenger?
A leaked document from Facebook has disclosed that advertising may be launched by the social media giant in the 2nd quarter of 2016 within Messenger.
The document, obtained by the technology web site Tech Crunch, read: “Companies will soon have the ability to send advertisements as messages to those who formerly started a chat thread with that business. To prepare, the document urges that companies get consumers to begin message threads with them now so that they will have the ability to send them advertising when the attribute launchings.”
The record also notes that Facebook has quietly started a URL brief link fb.com/msg/. Nevertheless, it says Page doesn’t exist and will not open.
Facebook isn’t going to let advertising messages are sent by brands to even individuals who have enjoyed their Pages but to simply those who’ve chatted with companies or merely anyone.
On Wednesday, micro blogging site Twitter said it’s bringing video support to Direct Messages to Android and iOS smartphones.
