Societal media giant Facebook has hired a cofounder of Google’s Fibre high speed Internet job to beef up its Internet connectivity team.

Lo afterwards supported his appointment on his Facebook Page, saying that he needs to bring onboard over four billion those who lag behind in relation to using high speed Internet services.

Nevertheless, the Free Basics, Facebook’s initiative would not be looked after by Lo for developing countries for more affordable, quicker access to Internet for those who can not get it.

The report also said that Facebook wasn’t intending to become an Internet service provider like Google Fibre.

Lo joined Google in 2010 and co-founded the Fibre job of the company’s, together with handling operations, company, and its merchandise. He left the business in 2015, just before new name and its reorganisation in August, the report.
