China’s government has emphasized big data, encryption technology and “core technologies” such as semiconductors as the essential components of its own drive to grow into a tech power station, based on another five-year plan released Saturday that envisages the Internet as a primary source of increase including a possible threat.

China’s development strategy calls to get a better cybersecurity acceptance system and more “exact” Web direction to “clean up illegal and bad advice.”

The strategy also calls for a multilateral, transparent, democratic and international government system and active involvement in international Internet governance attempts.

Premier Li Keqiang emphasized the guarantee of the World Wide Web, saying Saturday that various conventional sectors, that range from manufacturing to authorities to healthcare, need to connect to the Web and increase their efficiency as a portion of an overarching national strategy called “Internet Plus.”

The five-year plan calls for all families in big cities to get access to 100 megabyte-per-second Internet service and broadband coverage achieving 98 percent of the people in incorporated villages.
