Such records contain specific entries sources said. Google is considered to have been found in breach of specific rivalry standards by DG in its probe. With more time being sought by Google, the hearings including a final decision on this particular long-drawn case may require longer. The DG report is considered to include input signals and opinions from a number of things within the Internet business including some well known ecommerce companies and web portals. While entries from a number of them seem to indicate infringements on element of Google, others have sided with the US-based international giant. “We are reviewing this report from the CCI’s on-going investigation. It is often alleged that its search results were controlled by Google apart from visiting discriminatory states on advertisers, amongst others. Chawla had said before a final decision is taken in this case, the Commission would take a while. “The procedure is reasonably long, this is a quasi judicial procedure. Determine and then we must hear the parties involved. It’s going to take quite sometime,” he’d said.
