Instagram actually had a bug over the weekend gave individuals thousands more Instagram followers — but they are in the procedure of being taken back.

The issue gave many thousands of additional followers to some of the largest users. But they are being removed and were added by error.

“We are working to repair it, and any counts which were changed will be restored when we have solved the problem.”

But tons of other users are at present worried that their inflated amounts are being removed.
