Bangkok airport’s WiFi is world’s fastest Internet
Bangkok airport has the world’s most rapid WiFi service at a whopping speed of 41.45 Mbps, according to a new study.
The study was conducted by speed-evaluation site Rottenwifi.com which revealed effects of tests it ran on quality and speeds of WiFi at more than 130 airports all over the world, in which Suvarnabhumi airport here was rated in the very best standing.
The Top ten airport WiFi speeds contained two in the United States, five in Europe and three in Asia.
Two other Asian airports were in the top 10. While Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali (16.01 Mbps) was set at sixth, Taiwan’s Kaohsiung International Airport (15.55) followed at the seventh spot.
Suvarnabhumi supplies two hours of complimentary WiFi after a fast registration. The Bangkok Post report mentioned a traveling magazine as saying that the Suvarnabhumi speed was “quite impressive”.
