Adults Want Apple Watch
There is the 1 percent, and then there is the 6 percent: Those U.S. adults who intend to purchase the Apple Watch, according to a Reuters/Ipsos survey.
The data– based on replies surveyed between April 8 and 14–indicates adults from 1,829 guys are more than twice as likely than girls to buy Cupertino’s new smartwatch.
Despite Apple’s attempts to promote the gadget as a style accessory for the two genders, Ipsos found that fewer than 4 percent of girls are interested in the watch that was customizable, versus 9 percent of guys.
Reuters said that could translate into about 15 million Apple Watch sales, assuming people follow through with first strategies for purchase.
A substantial draw Wall Street, by any standards estimates put 2015 global sales between 10 million to 32 million.
The Apple Watch formally arrives on April 24, though Apple began taking pre-orders bookings and for instore appointments on April 10. The expensive wearable ranges from $549 to $1,099 for the normal Watch., and starts at $349 for the Sport variant
