Hides Your IP Address Blocked Media, for Private Browsing
SafeIP can help in the event you would like access to streaming media limited by where you are, web sites that show differently depending on where you’re, or simply a little solitude. If solitude is your target the utility allows you to choose wherever your IP address will look found, and may also rotate them frequently.
It’s possible for you to pick any one you decide to get your traffic routed through their servers so any website you program you open or visit believes instead of where you’re, you are in that place.
By default, SafeIP works as a proxy– there’s an alternative to encrypt your traffic the manner a VPN would, in the settings, but it is not on by default. Make note: SafeIP getting around place limitations, not security and is constructed for private browsing.
The program boasts some enhanced features such as malware protection and ad blocking (although those features actually only try and block things via your HOSTS file; it is not worth empowering when you’ve got better alternatives available). While the program is free, there’s a “Professional” version ($30) that adds Wifi protection (much like what Disconnect already does), and a few other characteristics we do not actually believe are worth the cash.
