Google Fi Wireless + US Cellular Network
Google’s Google Fi wireless service also leans on the US Cellular wireless network when users are not using Wifi, the firm announced this week. As it stands, Google Fi mainly uses Wifi, with users being shuttled to the T Mobile or Sprint networks when WiFI isn’t unavailable or if the system discovers those networks would perform. But in a post around at the Android site, Google Fi states so its network is additionally made accessible to Fi users that they have reached a deal with US Cellular.
“By examining speeds from every network, Project Fi can forecast the quickest network at your place — down to the city block — and automatically connect you,” says the firm. “We’re continuously adjusting to contemplate how variables like new cell towers and recently-accessible radio frequencies are affecting real world speeds.”
For $20 a month users get endless chat, text, tethering and international roaming in 120 nations.
