Companies in the coverage region of Google can get the gigabit speeds, about 100 times quicker than conventional Internet, for $100 a month. Google announced the much-expected company service in November.
Along with $100-a-month gigabit service with no building fee, Google Fiber will offer static IP addresses to companies. Google Fiber offers one static IP address for five for $30 or $20 a month . It will not shift when a device is assigned a static IP address and is generally used more when sites or outside apparatus should recall a user’s IP address. One example is a Virtual Private Network or another remote access option that trusts specific IP addresses for security functions.
