Cisco fixes iOS 9 compatibility problem that blocked some VPNs
Cisco’s AnyConnect VPN client for iOS ceased functioning right with some VPN server settings, preventing resources from loading when iOS 9 debuted in September. During the beta interval of iOS 9, a bug report filed with Apple about iOS 9 breaking DNS resolution in IPv4-established schism tunnneling, but iOS 9 sent without a fix.
But on Thursday, Cisco released a AnyConnect client upgrade in the App Store, variation 4.0.03016, that solves the problem. Schism-tunnel VPNs operate right, InfoWorld’s evaluations show.
The upgrade empower split-tunneling VPN access for all variations of iOS 9.
