Yahoo inches a bit of its Microsoft search price

In April, Microsoft and Yahoo announced a modified version of their search pact. On October 20, Yahoo took the following step toward wriggling a bit farther out of its Microsoft deal.
Yahoo (and Microsoft) additionally obtained the right after delivering a written notice of conclusion to terminate their joint search arrangement any moment after October 21, 2015, after notice was given, although the arrangement would stay in effect for four months.
Now, October 20, during the earnings call of Yahoo, Yahoo officials made it official that Google would provide a few advertisements and some results for Yahoo search queries.

The first Microsoft-Yahoo pact called for the sales force to be the exclusive one of Yahoo -Yahoo search and marketing platform to advertisers. But as of April 2015, Microsoft became the exclusive salesforce for advertisements delivered by Bing Advertisements and Yahoo is the exclusive salesforce for the Gemini advertisements of Yahoo.
The Services Agreement expires on December 31, 2018 and is effective as of October 1, 2015. Pursuant to the Services Agreement, Google will supply Yahoo with search ads through Google’s AdSense for Search service (“AFS”), net algorithmic search services through Google’s Websearch Service, and picture search services. The results supplied by Google for these services will soon be accessible to Yahoo for screen on both desktop and mobile platforms.

“Under the Services Agreement, Yahoo has discretion to choose which search queries to send to Google and isn’t required to send any minimal amount of search queries.
