Hacker-turned-informant Hector Monsegur Twitter return angers Anonymous

Hector Monsegur, the Unattributable hacker who became a super-informant on the actions of his former buddies, returned to Twitter. The results were not surprising.

By returning to Twitter having walked free from court only over 12 months past, Monsegur known by many as Sabu, observed the ending of his probation.

Monsegur’s has repurposed the @AnonymousSabu report which was last seen in only before it was disclosed that the FBI was being worked with by Monsegur.

Certainly there is plenty of pent up rage within Anonymous about the perceived activities of Monsegur, however he maintained that he was back, the truth was really going to come out.

His messages to Unattributable members indicate that there’ll be disclosures that will demonstrate he isn’t the villian.

In May, Monsegur walked free from a Fresh York court despite pleading guilty to participating in cyber attacks on the likes of Nintendo, Sony, Visa and Mastercard. The reason he prevent a jail term was what the court described as Monsegur’s “extremely valuable and productive” cooperation with the FBI.

Many consider this indicates Monsegur helped sell out his former associates in LulzSec and Anonymous specifically.

He’s been becoming involved in numerous dialogues with former Anonymous associates who are certainly quite upset that Monsegur has been released while hacktivists such as Jeremy Hammond stay in jail – partially because of the testimonies of Monsegur.
