Google to establish standalone picture service
Google is preparing to start a photograph service that will not rely on Google in any manner.
This new tool, once Google Photos, will let users share pictures on social sites like Twitter and Facebook. It is believed that the service will be given greater liberty to take on its competitors by severing the service from Google.
In March, Google Senior Vice President Sundar Pichai stated that Google’s photographs and societal-stream characteristics were likely to be treated as independent attributes.
The satire has not been lost on some folks.
Obviously, this is all conjecture for now. Google will formally announce its plans during Google IO.
