Uninstall QuickTime on Windows instantly, as it’s a security loophole
An urgent upgrade encouraging users to uninstall QuickTime for Windows instantly was recently released by security company Trend Micro.
This shouldn’t impact too many applications iTunes 7 on Windows uses QuickTime codecs to play with modern media formats. With a freeware like Kodi or VLC Media Player should suffice to play any video or sound file in your personal computer.
To uninstall QuickTime on Windows, open the Control Panel, beginning the ‘Uninstall an application’ search and software for QuickTime 7. Then right-click the application entry and click Uninstall.
