After early previews and people testing were finished before this month, Microsoft formally introduced Cortana on December 9 for Android apparatus.

Less than two weeks after, Microsoft taken a crucial attribute from the program: The latest upgrade disables the “Hey Cortana” listening function on Android apparatus.

WinBeta found that the applications was upgraded by Microsoft in the Google Play Shop on Sunday. In the “what is new” section, you will see three things: Improved program equilibrium, improved call and text attributes and the “Hey Cortana” attribute removed for U.S. marketplace.

WinBeta noted that issue this month, discovering that their mic to use Google’s personal assistant applications couldn’t be accessed by Google Android mobiles with Cortana.

Just disable the “Hey Cortana” attribute in the program.

Itis a great move on Microsoft’s part to accomplish this, but I am surprised this problem did not appear during previous testing; either while in preview or beta styles. However, maybe a code change in the finished software version is the reason for the issue.

Regardless, I guess Microsoft will conclude the disagreement earlier as opposed to later and Cortana for Android will probably be pleased to mind your commands that are verbal.
